Well, it took me about a week, but I've completely revamped the site to be a little more conventional. Whilst I loved the previous design, I think it confused people. Let me know what you think of this new update though. I'm always interested in feedback. In MS News, I've started on the trial of MIS416. The first day after the infusion was hell. I felt rather unwell, but day 2 was much better. Unfortunately, tomorrow is my second infusion at double the dose, so I'm expecting to feel horrible again. Still, if this new treatment works, I may stop deteriorating...

Teething Problems

Seems there were a few teething problems on the site over the last few days and  I hope you believe me when I say they weren't my fault! What you see on the frontpage is an automatically generated list of items - but the Supplier on the backend had changed the category names without letting me know - so the collection ended up being empty. A recent visit to my Neurologist reinforced what I already knew. My Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis has progressed to Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. SPMS has no treatment options. Unfortunately, it’s all downhill from here. Thankfully, my Neurologist is at the forefront of MS Research and is conducting a trial of a new medicine that doesn’t yet have a name! I’ll be joining that trial shortly. He’s also investigating the use of “Modafinil” as a treatment for my fatigue. Hopefully it’ll help. I do worry bout the quantitiy of tablets I’m taking though.
